This photo just makes me happy

Right now I am grateful for:

1. My health (which is far from perfect but pretty good none the less)
2. My children (they are gems on the earth)
3. My husband (he makes me laugh often)
4. My dog, Ivy (she loves me unconditionally)
5. My talents (some are hidden, some are out there)

Almost a month ago my girlfriend's 24 year old son had a double lung transplant. I am grateful for the medical advances that allowed this to happen. I am grateful for the family who donated the lungs, may you find peace and solace in your time of sorrow. I am grateful for my friendships that brought us together from far and wide to support Corey and his mom.  Heal well Corey!!!!  You are an amazing young man who now has so many opportunities ahead of you.

I decided I needed a creative push so I signed up for a postcard swap.  Beginning last week I used the  tutorial  by MadebyNicole to get me started.  This tutorial is well written, easy to follow and fun to do. From there I let my creative juices flow and began to create these collages.  They are now addressed and ready to be mailed! This was such a fun and inspiring project. It made me realize how much I need a deadline.  Thank you to iHanna for organizing the swap.

I'm looking forward to receiving postcards from far and near.
